Khandro Rinpoche's Visit To Ramagrama Stupa

Khandro Tseringma embarked on a 3-day visit to Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha, and its sacred surroundings, with the primary focus being the inauguration of the Ramagrama Stupa. This significant event brought together members of the Buddhist sangha from various corners of the world.

Located approximately 50km east of Lumbini, the Ramagrama Stupa holds distinction as one of the eight original relic stupas, enshrining the corporeal remains of Lord Sakyamuni Buddha. Notably, it remains the sole intact and original stupa preserving the relics of Buddha.

During the ceremony, Khandro la led the Pujas and kindled the eternal flame, symbolizing the commencement of a new chapter for the Ramagrama Stupa.

The honorable Prime Minister of Nepal, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, participated as the chief guest, emphasizing the national significance of the event.

In addition to the inauguration, Khandro la visited the revered Maya Devi Temple, the birthplace of Gautama Buddha. Inside the temple, she conducted extensive Pujas and engaged with numerous students.
